    Africa on Foot is a rustic, traditional bush camp located in the Klaserie area of the Kruger Park. As the name suggests the camp is unique for offering proper walking safaris.

    On a walking safari guests will be led by experienced and professional game rangers through a wildlife area rich in game including lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo as well as hyena, hippo, giraffe, zebra and a whole host of other wildlife. In addition to walking safaris, game drives and night drives are offered allowing guests to participate in a full spectrum of safari activities.

    Africa on Foot has five chalets, two of which are family chalets. A firm favourite amongst guests is the Treehouse and guests have the opportunity of spending a night “under the stars”

    nThambo Tree Camp

    nThambo Tree Camp

    nThambo Tree Camp is an eco-friendly safari camp located in the Klaserie area of the Kruger Park. The camp is small and intimate and sleeps a maximum of 10 guests in five chalets raised up on wooden stilts.

    The camp offers morning and afternoon/night game drives, as well as bush walks after breakfast. All activities take place in an area known for its quality of game viewing. Guests can expect to see all of the Big Five animals, as well as hyena, hippo, giraffe, zebra and a whole host of other wildlife.

    nThambo Tree Camp really allows guests to feel a little closer to nature, and is a true hidden secret in the Kruger.

    Umkumbe Safari Lodge

    Umkumbe Safari Lodge

    Umkumbe Safari Lodge is located in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, considered by many to be the premier wildlife reserve in South Africa. Located on the banks of the seasonal Sand River, Umkumbe Safari Lodge is perfectly situated in one of the best Big Five game viewing destinations in Africa.

    The lodge is owner managed and run, and sleeps fourteen guests seven chalets. Four of the chalets have inter-leading doors, perfect for families and groups of friends travelling together.

    Guests regularly see elephants, hippos, buffalo and antelope grazing in the river bed. Additional facilities include a swimming pool, lounge, bar and dining area and the traditional boma, where guests will be served delicious and hearty South African meals.
