Where the Savuti Channel once flowed, elephants and other wildlife gather. On the bank of this channel lies Camp Savuti, one of Chobe National Park’s most ideally located safari camps. Unassuming, simple, and essential, the 5 meru-style tented units are complete with wooden decks, and of course, views of the river.
The eminent Savute Marsh is only a short drive away, following routes and circuits through pristine, African bush, characterised by the bare remains of drowned trees. Wildlife documentaries and discoveries about animal behaviour have been revealed and recorded in this thriving ecosystem.
